Browser Region Auditor
Audit your browser environment for signals that could identify you as a China-based user. 10-signal weighted detection with skeleton-first UX.
What This Tool Checks
Services like Claude and OpenAI restrict access from China using a combination of IP geolocation, browser language preferences, timezone, and other signals. This tool audits your current browser environment across 10 detection vectors — from hard-to-fake signals like IP location and super-app JSAPI bridges, to configurable settings like language and timezone.
Each signal is weighted by reliability and difficulty to spoof. The result is a risk score from 0–100% that estimates how likely your environment would be flagged as China-based.
How to Use This Tool
Open this page in your target browsing environment — the tool runs all checks automatically. Critical signals (IP geolocation, network reachability, super-app JSAPI) carry more weight. Use the per-signal suggestions to fix any issues before accessing region-restricted services.
The tool is 100% client-side: no data leaves your browser except the IP geolocation API call (to ipapi.co). All other checks run locally.
